Macha motioned for one of the Wardens near the front of their party to come to her side. Their time was running thin, and plans still had to be made—so, they would make them on the go. Their party was moving forward even now, approaching the Keep. For now, Macha's hatred of the place had taken a backseat to duty and urgency. She had drawn dividing lines in the ranks, forming the teams they would need to contain this mess.
The Warden she'd called over was an elven woman, shorter than Macha as most elves were but fierce of expression. Nygozy had given her a run down of all the Wardens of even partially significant rank in their party—given the state of Ferelden's Wardens, even a junior Warden stood senior when there was simply no one else below them. Macha herself was little more than a junior Warden, having Joined only a little more than a year ago, but given all she had gone through, she would demand for herself the respect that any battle-hardened Warden might command. And such was saying nothing of Nygozy, who was as junior as Macha and had nevertheless taken down an Archdemon, becoming one of the greenest Warden Commanders in history. In comparison, the elven Warden she called now to her side was positively wizened.
Lithawen was her name, or such was what Nygozy had told her. She'd come to camp under the wing of Calliara, Nygozy's newly-made Second in Command. Macha didn't know either elf, but she trusted Nygozy's judgement, and she had always been an admirer of powerful women, besides.
"Lithawen, was it?" she asked, some shred of levity trying to invade her terse tone. "Forgive me—we haven't had much of a chance to talk before this. Hopefully, there will be time for it later. Right now, we're about to enter the Main Hall. As soon as we cut a break in the darkspawn, I want you to take a group through the first and second floors. Look for survivors—anyone who might have managed to hide from the darkspawn. Wardens, servants—I don't even care if they're vagabonds or thieves, just get them away from the darkspawn. And Lithawen . . . " he face suddenly became very grave, and though she'd been looking ahead towards the Keep all this time, she broke away to look Lithawen in the eye. "If you find anyone who might have been Tainted, use your discretion. If they might make a decent Warden, save them—perhaps a Joining will give them a second chance. If not . . . Sending them to the Maker's side would be kinder."
Waving her hand again, she motioned a small group forward. "Take Charrick with you," she instructed, and leveled a stern look at the former trouble maker. "You treat Lithawen's orders as if they were coming directly from me, do you understand? This is me giving you a chance to prove you're on our side. I would so hate to have to throw you in a cell after all of this."
With a nod of her head, she introduced the other two under Lithawen's command. "Lithawen, this is Jazarine. She's known Nygozy for some time, and she's a gifted healer. She'll prove useful if you find anyone injured. And this is Margaid, though I've heard you've been acquainted." Macha barely knew the apostate herself, but searching for survivors had seemed like the best place to put the errant mage. After all, Macha hardly knew what her abilities were, and while she trusted that they were impressive (given all her time successfully running from the Templars), it seemed prudent to put her with Lithawen, who was the only Warden among them who even remotely knew what she was capable of.
"It won't be an easy job," she said to the group, eyes sober. "The darkspawn won't be contained to just the Main Hall. You'll run into plenty while searching for survivors, and you'll have to fight them off while also saving anyone you can. Good luck."
[[Lith, feel free to take it from here! You can mention that you helped the Main Hall group cut through some of the darkspawn, and then go off with your group to do your thing!]]
