So who did you romance and with whom?

LET'SSSSS see. So many games to go through!

Origins:
Macha is my dearest Warden, and the only one I've actually gone through the whole game with (you'd think I'd have managed more than that in, oh, six years). I have plenty of others that I've started and gotten through varying stages of the story.
Macha (rogue Cousland, but she ended up in heavy armor with dual wielding long swords most of the time, so she wasn't exactly a "sneaky" rogue) romanced Alistair and became his Queen. I prefer the RP canon where she rules along with him but as an adviser and steward instead of his wife <3 I've grown very attached to that canon for her.

I also just started a new female rogue Cousland game when Inquisition came out. She's Aneira Cousland, and she's romancing Leliana <3 I REALLY want to see how this plays out, because I've heard that you can marry a hardened!Alistair and keep Leliana as your mistress, and that just sounds totally awesome to me. Especially when Leliana talks about it in Inquisition.

(Speaking of Leliana, I messed around with some things in The Keep to upload to Inquisition, and one of my current playthroughs has Macha having romanced Leliana. The way Leliana talks about her . . . UGH it's so romantic and awesome.)

DA2:
It's probably no secret that I'm obsessed with default!Hawke, male or female. I don't think I've actually made a Hawke that wasn't the default. I have two female Hawkes and two Male Hawkes.

My first playthrough was Amara Hawke, a rogue. She romanced Merrill, and they're absolutely adorable together (I love that Merrill moves in with you). They definitely had some hard times because of what Merrill was going through, but Amara loved her too much to quit on her.

My favorite playthrough was as my male mage Hawke, who romanced Fenris. My other mage Hawke, creatively named Garret because it's actually one of my favorite names and I would have named him that even if it HADN'T been the default, romanced Anders, and of course, we all know what an Anders fan I am. If I had to choose between Fenris and Anders, I'd have to choose Anders, but it would be by a very, very, VERY slim margin, 'cause I adore them both.

I'm still working on my female mage Roxanne Hawke playthrough with Isabella. I can't wait to get through that one — after all this time, I actually haven't seen how the Isabella romance plays out. I seem to be pretty good at avoiding spoilers in that arena.

Inquisition:
My female mage inquisitor Asaara romanced Josephine. It's SO incredibly adorable to be a seven foot lady picking up and spinning this little politician. I hadn't planned, when I started the game, to romance Josephine, but she just took my heart <3 I couldn't go for anyone else.

My current male rogue elf Canden (yep) is actually still flip-flipping on romances. I thought about The Iron Bull, but even after playing through the game twice, I still just don't LOVE him. Maybe going through the romance plot will change that? And then there's Dorian. UGH Dorian. I love him. But it feels wrong to romance him after falling in love with Margaid's mage Inquisitor Trystan, who romanced Dorian. I watched her play through that whole game and it just feels like stealing Trystan's man!
