So as I sit here ignoring the real world to trip around Thedas for the nth week in a row, I realized that probably everyone (I think, maybe) is as obsessed with DA:I as I am at the moment. In that vein, I was wondering what the veracity of setting up a potential DA2 and DA:I RP section of the forum would be, whether separate or concurrent with the main DA:O thread (and what the interest would be in doing that).
(On a side and completely unrelated note, does anyone know how to put my character bios in a folder, rather than just have them sit down at the bottom of the character thread? Thanks!)
I think Lith made a DA:I RP, but it's very uh...'low-key?' Maybe 'non-canon' is the word? It might not give a person itching for a DA:I RP their fix, as it doesn't seem intended towards dealing with the major events of DA:I, but it's something I guess.
Other than that, it sounds like a fun idea. I love ALL DA games, so getting an RP fix for all games, and not just Origins (or post Origins) sounds fun. You know that I in particular love dealing with the post-DA:2 world, and the consequences of the mage-uprising. It makes a deliciously chaotic world to play with~
Sweet Andraste I just love Hawke so much I just love playing around in post-DA2 world, you know I'm trash for that //weeps

Hell, if we wanted to, we could do a hypothetical version of our RP set during Inquisition as older versions of our characters. How would the Ferelden Grey Wardens hold together during the Mage-Templar war after everything that occurred in the the ten years that past? Would the Hero of Ferelden take the mantle of Inquisitor like Leliana and Cassandra originally wanted?
It would probably be rife with spoilers and probably ranging very far and wide. I mean, I could easily see Wolfram back in Weisshaupt during the events of Last Flight. I really am liking that idea, especially if we adapt it to fit the canon of our rp. Might be a little hard since our post-Origins rp has barely started back up, but ten years is long enough that they can rebuild and gain or lose members.
You know what ... these are all good ideas and I think that maybe some of us have had a difficult time thinking up some ideas as we try to recreate what we have already done. Maybe that is a mistake?
What we can do is keep what we have in one section and have another section for both DA:2 and DA:3 setting up with how our characters react throughout time.
So ... who wants to take Hawk and who should be the Inquisitor? I know I'll rp Varric (it pisses me off that he's not romanceable ...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's not like people have been asking for that since DA:2 came out. *snorts derisively*).
I would love to be Hawke if I could fight Margaid for it //ohohohoh
:U I'll fight you
//killed
or stealths around you to steal Anders
//quietly tucks away Inquisitor
I love the idea of imagining our DA:AE characters in the future, too. It's fun to start over, and re-imagine their meetings, but many of us by now also know our characters well enough, I think, to have fun throwing them into the future and seeing what happens. I know that, when the RP was first restarting, I got excited thinking about how Margaid might be, five or ten years down the line. And pulling in other DA characters that we know and love sounds thrilling, too. And like Swift said, so much of DA:Inquisition deals with the Wardens' problems, that it would be fun to see how the Hero of Fereldan is doing her part to deal with that, as well as [MINOR SPOILERS] deal with the calling. It would definitely be super exciting to see Nygozy deal with the Warden shenanigans that erupt in this game!

I'm tempted to do the Inquisitor with my Djalla, the Qunari mage but I will leave it to someone else if they would like it. We're going to have to figure out how to have you two fight for Hawke though
Macha and I have been talking about me possibly sneaking in and stealing Anders if she can take the Hawke position. I know she played Anders before, but I wanted to see if it was okay for her to hand the character off to me. I've played Anders oppoiste her Hawke before in other RPs, so she could (maybe) vouch for my playing the character. Just a thought...

So...playing through on a new character, did the chantry meeting at Val Royeaux, returned to Haven...to discover the Ferelden Wardens had apparently disappeared as well.=. Whatever we start doing we must be doing something that not even Leliana's spies can find us. That might complicate some things.

They explain why they disappear later it's because...{Spoiler}

I knew that part. For some reason, I thought it was only the Orlesian Wardens because none of the known Ferelden Wardens outside of Hawke's potential Warden friend pop up.
{Spoiler} Nathaniel, Ogrhen, and all of the other Ferelden Wardens you recruit in Awakening (minus Anders, of course) were holding up against Corypheus. I guess I like to think that they'd be stronger than that—maybe they would recognize his call as similar to the Architect or something—but it would be fun to explore what they were up to.
We know that Nathaniel, at least, was around Kirkwall during DA2, and who knows where he went after that, so maybe he was far enough away to avoid the incidents of DA:I, but it's a fun thought to ponder.
{Spoiler} When I started some early quest or other in the Storm Coast regarding the Wardens and following their trail, I noticed that the codex entries/letters that the Inquisitor was finding were written by a female elf who seemed to have some kind of high-ish rank. I like to imagine that it was Velanna writing those letters, hunting after the trail of darkspawn on her own.
Ok Macha you get the Inquisitor. Margaid can have Hawke.
The Fereldan wardens disappeared a couple of years after the blight so it seems they may have been gone for a bit longer than other wardens. I have ideas for this so no worries there.
