Moving is so stressful; take your time to get your Feng Shui in order and all that. Sometimes, creativity strikes hardest when you should be doing other things, like arranging boxes, but other times, a messy space is the death of inspiration. You've got to take care of yourself before anything else /o/
Hey, glad to learn things are starting to settle down for you ! I'm just gonna say same thing as everyone else : don't rush yourself, youve got enough on your hands as it is, and there are probably more urgent matters to address, so take all the time you need. Not really used to moving out more than one people at a time, but reading from your posts, it doesn't look like an enjoyable hobby.
This move has been extremely stressful as we have had to go back and forth from the house many times to get our stuff. We were ill for a week but the rest of the time has been mostly doing that. Now we get to paint. Whee. It cost twice as much as we thought it would to get the paint and supplies and David's father "borrowed" a lot of David's tools from his toolbox and now we don't know where they all went. About $400 or so of tools gone and stuck under father-in-law's crud in the garage. Man but we are pissed off.
So it will still be a couple of days gang. Sorry real life is sometimes a pain.
I got a weber b fracture in my leg on Saturday, February 21. They had to operate as the leg was not stable so I now have a metal plate and nails in my leg. It's uncomfortable but liveable. My left foot had a battle with ice and did not win.
Yeh I'm ok. Just taking pain killers and staying off the left foot. It's nothing compared to Calli (that still just boggles the mind and makes me want to go hunting for a moron). The worst is that it is really, really awkward dealing with it as it is hard to get comfortable.
Life has a way of just not leaving you in peace, you really didn't need something like that on top of it all. I hope you heal nicely, and not stay pinned down too long. How's your life in your new home, anyway ? Has everyone settled down ?
Oh, and I know it's really no laughing matter, but...
My left foot had a battle with ice and did not win.
You seem to be correct about most of that, yes Damien. The world enjoys doing things to me to keep me on a rollercoaster. So far the leg seems to be healing ok and I see the doctor this Tuesday about it. I like my new home and so does my mother. Our roomie doesn't care so much about the bus ride but it's not that long so he is ok with it and doing ok here. My husband... well, he's the type who has trouble with new things so he's moody and saying now and again that we shouldn't have moved here (broken leg and blah blah shouldn't have this that and the other thing). He is just not good with change.
As for the joke - yeh that made me laugh so resistance is futile.
My leg is finally healed enough that I can walk now but not a lot or my legs feel like they will fall off. I've been really fuzzy the last few weeks. Now I am trying to re-set up my Daz3d so I can enter this contest but I'm using my laptop. Yeh, you know how I love tea? Well, I accidentally decided to share with my desktop computer. It didn't like that and has refused to talk with me since.
Ok my brain is still in another world again. I hope everyone is having fun and playing well. If I'd have realized how bad it would be for me to be able to even get my brain into anything and how much fun things would get I would have killed the guy who coined the phrase "may you live in interesting times." Ok I am back to rambling again. Not good so see you all later.
Im on new epilepsy medication that has been playing merry hell with my brain the past few days, ranging from drowsiness to dizziness to full on mood swings. Fun times.
