Okay so I've had an interesting summer where I didn't get to play video games all day. Oh wait did I say interesting. What are some of the things you've guys played this summer?
My List; Divinity Original Sin Dragon Age Origins (mods galore) Elder Scrolls Online (oh why oh why did you have to not be interesting!?) Sims 3 Link Between Worlds Phoenix Right....the first one Shadow of Mordor (ZOMGSJDFHJKDGHJHKJHGKJHILOVETHISGAME!!!!)
I played a lot of Rune Factory 4, Pokemon X and Y, Dragon Age 2 (of course!), some Skyrim, and Ace Attorney Dual Destinies (along with a shameful amount of Candy Crush). I mostly let Chels/Margaid hog the TV/game systems : P

Lets see. Fire Emblem Awakening, Shadow of Mordor, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Dynasty Warriors 8, Hyrule Warriors, a little bit of Dragon Age: Origins (mostly reacquiring mods I used to have and remaking my characters), DA 2(so the former), Crusader Kings II, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen, Pokemon X, a little bit of Shovel Knight, a little bit of Gunvolt. Yeah...probably stuff I'm forgetting, but that's all just on the top of my head.

Skyrim, Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age II, Elder Scrolls Online beta (I refuse to pay 13 euro that I don't have, each month), Skyrim, The Witcher, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 and again, Skyrim, Dungeon Siege (I'm vintage like that), Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, Neverwinter Online, Skyrim... Did I say Skyrim? I'm in love with it. Omg the landscapes.

Haha, I love Skyrim mods on the PC that make it look so pretty you'll think it's real. I build myself a PC earlier this summer so I should be able to run it close to full graphics...maybe.
Im waiting for smash to be on the WiiU, Im afraid...I know I would break my poor 3DS because of that game. Already have broken more GC controllers than I can count on melee and brawl.I want Hyrul Warriors as well. But I don't want to drop near 300 on the WiiU for only two games and maybe pikman.
I can't understand Crusader kings II, I want to. I really want to. But it's so hard to keep up. I also want to try the Game of thrones mod but haven't gotten it to work yet.
Mostly Skyrim! Skyrim is my forever girl. But I also played a lot of Dragon's Dogma, which I liked, but the lack of fast traveling would kill it for me at some points—especially if quests had me going back and forth between towns a lot. I enjoy it quite a bit, though. Recently, I was dabbling a little in Oblivion, but it just made me go back to Skyrim xD
Also played Awakening myself for the first time! I had watched Liv (Macha) play it when it first came out, but I only just bothered to play it myself this summer. My Anders pain was real....baby...just stay away from Justice ....just be friends... From there, I went and played DA:2, to try and hold myself over until Inquisition in November!!!
Lith and Swift, how is Shadow of Mordor? Usually video games based on books and movies leave a lot to be desired...
it's not really based on the movies or the plot of the books. It kind of stand separate, which is why the marketing people were making stupid deals with youtubers. I love the game though. It's a mix of assassins creed, skyrim, and i don't even know, awesome. Stabbing orcs in the face is just the best.

Its combat is like the Arkham series, except more fatal. The story gets a little into fanfiction, and two out of the three main boss fights are qte filled, but the overall package makes up for it. Just don't get 360/ps3 versions, otherwise you'd lose the Nemesis system(aka the main selling point). Also, the PC version has rather high specs, especially the Ultra HD version which only works on a handful of graphics cards. But even on medium settings it still looks really good.

I haven't tried Shadows of Mordor yet, although it looks awesome. The thing that pisses me off is that I can't choose who am I and I have to be a dude. Being able to design your character to your tastes is an important part of my game choices

It's Talion's story, not the players. Not sure just how the story would work with a custom character. There's no real choices outside in terms of the story except the order you do them in. No real reason for customization. Don't worry, though, Inquisition is on the horizon.
Edit: Just doing a quick check into posting on the Wii U's Internet browser. The tablet controller makes this so much easier than aiming the Wiimote.

I think with the LotR universe it would be hard to have a custom character as there is a very structured law to the types of people who live in middle earth. That being said I would love LOVE love a choose your origin and come together to save the world sort of approach they did with DA-Origins
Well it's hard to be worse than the wii's internet.

ESO has a lot of problems, yes. It's got a decently interesting baseline of gameplay that gets immediately ruined by absolutely awful execution and content.
As for myself, well...
Dark Souls 2: 69.0 hours played in the last two weeks. Really, more like in the last week, Steam. (Partly because I accidentally deleted my character due to controller input weirdness, so I had to re-progress a new character. At least I got to change my appearance.)
Before that? Looks like six hours of Vector Thrust, coming off of replaying Ace Combat 04 (doing a 100% completion run, still haven't gotten around to playing through Ace difficulty).
11.4 hours of Wolfenstein. I'm in the last stretch (Nazis wielding stolen Jewish theoscience! On the MOOOOOOON) of one timeline, need to finish. Might go through the second timeline, might not.
Memory gets fuzzier past that; I know I started up TERA again to check out the new content, but I haven't hit the new level cap (new level caps in MMOs are gross. They're grooooooossssss!) so I haven't checked out the new dungeons. Shandra Manaya got nerfed into the dirt, though. Poor girl.
Went back and replayed all of the ArmA II campaigns. AI is still as atrocious as I remember it.
Oh right, played through the entirety of the Baldur's Gate trilogy with a heavily modified setup, running a Kensai/Mage/Thief multiclass. Started a second run with Kensai/Mage/Assassin, haven't gotten around to advancing it past the first chapter, though.

"My word is my honor. My honor is my life." -- Demonchild, Angelkin, the Blackest Seraph, the Final Warrior
I haven't had as much time to play as I'd like thanks to work and other life bugbears (made all the harder with Ace Attorney and Rune Factory 4 taunting me from the Nintendo e-Shop! Waaaaaah!), so I've mostly been immersing myself in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire whenever I can grab a few moments (Sophie and her shiny Gardevoir, conquering the world!) and Fallen London, an amazing text-based Victorian Era browser game. With gorgeous devils. And Lovecraftian griblies. And seriously the most amazing writing ever oh my goodness melting with admiration over here blargh. Some of the dream sequences gave me goosebumps. And the romance! *swooooons* I can't recommend it highly enough.
Aside from that, I've been sighing after RPG Maker VX Ace, waiting until such time as I can afford a computer that can run it and writing copiously about rabbits, food and certain hard-headed idiots. >.< I... I may be a tad obsessed.
